PRAY.COM today announced the launch of Pray Production Studio (PPS), an AI-powered production platform that enables churches, ministries, faith content creators, educators, book authors and filmmakers to generate original cinematic video from a sermon, Bible story, lesson, or idea. Built by the team behind the AI Bible, the platform transforms what once required a Hollywood-sized production into a workflow that can be completed by a small team in a single afternoon.
Pray Production Studio follows the success of PRAY.COM’s AI Bible, which has generated more than 250 million views to date. The AI Bible team produces five flagship cinematic episodes each week, along with derivative content, totaling approximately 150 videos per month. Over the past 12 months, the team has increased total monthly output from approximately 30 to 150 videos, a fivefold increase in production.
“AI shouldn’t displace human creativity,” said Steve Gatena, Founder and CEO at PRAY.COM. “Today, we are making an easy-to-use, advanced production studio available to faith creators everywhere at an accessible price point. This is the winning combination of humans leveraging AI to expand the ability to create and tell stories with the creator’s own message, ideas and perspective remaining at the center. The tool does not carry the message. The pastor does. We just removed the crew, the cameras and the six-week timeline that stood between the message and the screen.”
From AI Bible to a Full-Scale Production Platform
While faith creators have embraced AI, the majority of tools available either focus on rewriting or repackaging preexisting religious sermons through clips, or are AI video generators that create individual scenes that often lose character continuity and visual consistency. Pray Production Studio solves the issue left out by both types: the realization of complete, visually consistent stories with well-defined protagonists, environments, and visual styles from the very start up to the end point.
Beyond working with existing footage, PPS can entirely render new cinematic scenes on its own. Churches can use Sunday's sermon to create social media content, Bible illustrations, kids' ministry lessons, marketing films, or series without any cameras, actors, or the need for a full production crew in as little as one day. With the help of reusable character libraries, project-level memory management, and automated prompting, the software is able to consistently keep track of a whole production and, at the same time, combine top AI models into one working environment.
“AI can make one impressive shot. The hard part is making every shot after it feel like the same film,” said Max Bard, Founder of Pray Production Studio at PRAY.COM. “The church has never had a shortage of stories worth telling. What it has lacked is access to the production machinery needed to tell them at cinematic scale. PPS gives ministries the same workflow we built for the AI Bible, enabling a small team to turn a message into a film, a series, and a week of content without rebuilding the world every time.”
From Story to Screen
Every project starts with people. Pastors guard the theology, writers shape the story and animators direct every frame. Pray Production Studio handles the production labor in between, so scripture-rooted cinematic content can reach the platforms where younger audiences increasingly discover faith.
The platform represents the next phase of PRAY.COM's mission. The company has helped millions of people consume faith-based content through its prayer app, Bible in a Year, podcasts, and AI Bible. With Pray Production Studio, PRAY.COM now enables churches and ministries to create that same caliber of content themselves. The result is a dramatic reduction in production time and cost while expanding the amount of scripture-rooted, cinematic content available across YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, and other platforms where younger audiences increasingly discover faith.
Now, the proprietary technology PRAY.COM built to produce the AI Bible is available to churches, ministries, independent Christian creators, and faith-media studios. The same team and production platform behind more than 250 million AI Bible views to date are giving content creators access to an end-to-end workflow designed to turn sermons, Scripture, and original ideas into cinematic content at a fraction of the time and resources traditionally required.
“I'm a pastor, not a filmmaker, but this puts the tools of a studio in my hands,” said Adam Mesa, Lead Pastor at Patria Church. “I describe what I see in the passage and it comes back as something people feel, not just hear. It has changed how I think about preaching, because now I can show it.”
